Introducing SWRLS summer training offer - 2 highly interactive courses designed to support frontline library staff and administrators
Creative Health: Support wellbeing and manage stress is a new bespoke short course of two half-day online workshops (bookable separately or together), designed for frontline staff and administrators, especially those whose work relates to providing emotional care to service users. SWRLS is working in partnership with Arts & Health South West, an organisation specialising in the field of Creative Health and how it is being used to support mental health and wellbeing. The course runs from 10.00 to 13.00 on 8th and 9th June 2022. Find out more about the new course and how to book here.
UX Research & Design is a one day user experience course that will take place in person on 25 May at Exeter Central Library. The course takes a highly practical and interactive approach to learning about UX research and design and is designed for staff in every sector - HE, FE, Schools, Health, Public and Specialist libraries and information centres. It does not assume prior knowledge although those attending with some experience of UX methods will learn new techniques and approaches. SWRLS is pleased to be working in partnership with CILIPSW and is able to offer discounted ticket prices to both SWRLS and CILIPSW members.
