Patrick Gale opens Word Live in Libraries, a regionwide tour of South West libraries, on 25 May at Sherborne Library, Dorset. This is just the start of a 20-venue tour of diverse authors and creative practitioners, offering audiences across our region workshops and talks both in person and broadcast online.
Dorset and local audiences can join Patrick in person at 3.30 pm on 25 May for a Reading Group workshop at Sherborne Library; and then, at 7 pm, Patrick will be accessible online from the Library to everyone who enjoys Patrick's work, or has yet to discover his writing, and would like to learn more about 'Mother's Boy' (Tinder Press, 2022), the author's latest work based on the life of Cornish poet, Charles Causley.
Places are limited and reservations essential. Don't miss out and book your place here.
More events across the region will be announced over the coming days. All will be listed on SWRLS website from the top menu bar of the Home Page: Book Tour Events.
The Tour is made possible through public funding from Arts Council England National Lottery and is delivered in partnership with Literature Works.
