Contacting members

Members can use the JISC SWRLS email list to contact other SWRLS members . Please see below for policies and the privacy notice relating to the list.

One of the key elements of the SWRLS offer is the opportunity to network across libraries in the south west. This is facilitated through the twice yearly meetings (the Members' Day in the spring and the Conference in the autumn) and regular training and development events sponsored by SWRLS. In order to sustain this networking throughout the year, please make use of the SWRLS email list to, for example:

  • broker services;
  • access key contacts, support and expertise;
  • exchange information and advice;
  • organise work shadowing opportunities etc.

Only people who are registered to use the address, i.e. SWRLS main member contacts, will be able to send emails through it, but we trust that any pertinent messages you receive will be forwarded to relevant colleagues within your organisation.

The list should not be used for inter lending library purposes, unless you are seeking advice on ILL policy/procedures. Requests for specific books/journal articles etc. should be processed using your library services ILL procedures.
