JISCMAIL moved to a new organisation
– and new servers – at the end of last year.
Since then there
has been a number of emails that have ‘bounced’. JISC tell me that the main
issue is that some email servers have not been reconfigured to allow emails from
JISC servers to be received.
Please could you
check that your email service allows receipt of emails from JISC – these are the
servers from which mail is being sent:
Servers: 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206
Secondary Servers: 220.127.116.11 and
In case of technical problems you could also be getting mail
from this range 18.104.22.168/25
