Bookmarklets
Bookmarklets are javascript functions disguised as browser bookmarks (or, in Internet Explorer, favourites). To use these bookmarks in a javascript enabled browser, simply drag them onto your browser's bookmarks menu, or save them to your bookmarks using the right-click context menu, or else copy the link address into a new bookmark manually.
- Google Cache (looks up the version of the current page held in Google's cache)
- Wayback (finds all the versions of the current page archived by the Wayback Machine)
- British Library Integrated Catalogue (finds an ISBN from the current page address, e.g. in Amazon, and looks up that ISBN in the British Library catalogue)
For more ISBN bookmarklets, see Jon Udell's LibraryLookup project page.
